Qatar is the only Arab state which has supported us in Libya; unfortunately, the Arab League is just a mouthpiece - it is sadly only a talk talk show never a walk on commitment. The Amir of Qatar has bravely funded Al-Jazeera as a version of CNN and as an antidote to the immense Israeli publicity machine. For the past decade he has funded the Doha Forum which brings together politicians including Israelis, think tankers, diplomats and NGOs to debate the issues of the world.
