I first went to Doha in 2006 to speak at the annual Forum on internet matters. I was invited back in 2008, 2009 and 2010 (though by then I was no longer an MP). I was also invited by the Qatar Financial Authority to an FT Conference also in 2009.

I shall be back in May, 2011 to speak again on Internet matters as it relates to Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria and Saudi Arabia.
