Manifesto for a Networked Nation has been produced by the www.RaceOnline2012.org team to explain to the ConDem coalition why it is important that we try and reach the 10 million UK citizens not online. It also gives lots of help and suggestions for local organisations.

Over thirteen years ago I tried to persuade my own Government of the need for a Digtial Day for the Nation; alas I failed until one day Helen Milner, CEO, of UK Online walked into my office in Parliament in 2007 and said "We'll do it"!! It was a single "Day" in 2007, 2008 and 2009 but this year it is a whole week.
