Apple Isn't Rotten to the Core

Apples shares were always over-priced so the fact that they have tumbled should not surprise us.

The Sunday Times piece "Rot Sets In at Apple's core" will be carrying Fish and Chips tomorrow.


Here's what we love about Apple:

Design (thanks to Jony Ive)

The iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad

Taking on the phone companies and beating them to a pulp

Showing Mircrosoft that a tablet can work

Beautiful Apple shops and outstanding service in them

Taking other peoples ideas and monetising them (-ish) - the mouse, Napster et al.....


Here's what we hate:

Its secrecy

Its failure to pay its taxes

Its decision not to stock all its products espeically upgrades which requires wild goose chases to find them and drives us to Samsung

Its failure to ensure its products are made in properly ordered factories in China and elsewhere and that no child labour is involved

Its high prices
