Could Samsung bid for RIM? 13.09.11

Microsoft became the owner-in-waiting for Nokia six months ago. This may have been the tipping point for Google's buy of the Motorola Mobile division. RIM, the owners of Blackberry, has had a more difficult time as its shares have moved south at a rapid rate though there has been a small recovery of late. Apple's presence in the mobile and tablet market has taken all by surprise these past four years so can Samsung, the number 2 in the tablet market, resist buying RIM? Or will an outsider like Sony take the plunge? RIM may not like it but they are in play at the moment.
