Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

Even the FT fell for the David Cameron hype-mobile when he announced plans to create a Silicon Valley in East London (Lea Valley) yesterday. Indeed, the leaked announcement yesterday then failed to make any noise this morning.

To create a Silicon Valley you need two universities of the calibre of Stanford and Berkeley - so Imperial and Cambridge. They need to move their ICT, Maths, Computing and MBA departments to East London- what chance? Nil. Cambridge already has the best example of Silicon Valley in its Silicon Fen science park. Imperial needs to be made up into full university status and slowly move across to a new campus in East London but who will pay the costs? Not the Government.

Back to the drawing board..........
