Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

Value of Geospatial Information

Geospatial information supports a wide range of services and policy decisions in local public services. Many excellent and innovative examples show the benefits of Geospatial information in local service delivery, citizen and business use. However, the economic value for geospatial information underpinning local services is little understood. The LG Group has commissioned research to find out more about the value of geospatial information in local public service delivery and as a public good. For example, Geospatial information has contributed over £ 230 million to efficiency gains in local public service delivery in 2008/09. The results of the research are  published below.
