Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

Why the fuss over Blackberry and not Cloud Computing?

You are here: Home / Internet Stuff / Internet Stuff / Why the fuss over Blackberry and not Cloud Computing?

14 Aug 2010
The column inches which have beset RIM - the makers of the extraordinarily popular Blackberry - in the media across the Middle East and now in India is worth some reflection.

RIM holds the keys to its own security system and no-one but no-one has complained over the past ten years. Their security is rarely breached and that it what businesses across the world want with their emails and phone calls.

However, though few journalists have put two and two together is it more than coincidence that the UAE (esp. Dubai where in January, 2010 Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, a senior Hamas commander was assassinated by Mossad, Israeli's secret police), India (Pakistani-based terrorists raided Mumbai in November, 2008) and Saudi Arabia (100 suspected terrorists were arrested in March, 2010) have now raised their security issues with RIM?

And yet, hardly any country anywhere in the world has raised the same issues with respect to Cloud Computing..........

And even if they had where would they raise these issues?

Even more reasons then for an Internet Policy Institute.......
