Last night Dame Lynne Brindley gave a small supper party for yours truly and three of my dear friends to put on record her thanks for my support for the British Library during my time as an MP (1997-2010)..
She also gave me a framed Adopt A Book certificate expressing her thnaks more formally and she cleverly chose Robert Anderson's "Heard in the Scrum" published in 1964 which I now need to go and read!
