The internet has never made it to a main G8 Agenda; all that will change over the next few days as the G8 countries assemble in Deauville, France. President Sarkozy has tried to hijack the agenda already by holding a series of meetings in Paris under the title e-G8 and two days ago he called for a world body to regulate the net.
