Just after Christmas, I began a fitness routine with the aim of losing weight and if possible ridding my system of rheumatoid arthritis. This involved becoming more or less a vegetarian (fish allowed), drinking soya milk and 2-3 litres of water a day, having hardly any carbs and no alcohol. There was also some stretching exercises to be done each day and taking some food supplements.
By March, I had lost 14lbs/6.3k and my arthritis was in remission.........
By June, I had maintained my new weight but had slipped a little with my diet BUT my rheumatoid arthritis was in full remission. I do not have to see my Consultant for a year! Yea.
In July, I signed up with a new trainer and diet regime which started two weeks ago (I was on holiday in August). I do gym, swim, work out and diet each work. So far, in my first two weeks I have lost nearly 7lbs/3.18k !! Long may it continue......
