We spent most of Saturday at Twickenham. We parked up at Richmond and then took the special bus (50p) before encamping to a rather lonely ERIC room for lunch. The first Autumn international isn't usually a sell out but a special offer for children has ensured a sell out crowd of 84k+. We chatted to David Trick, Brian Moore, Ian Robertson and Colin Herridge.
As for the game, I just couldn't find much to excite me. The Fijian front row was so technically inept that the scrums were a farce. Play was continually held up and England found it hard to develop much rhythm. Sure they clocked up 54 points but Fiji will need to address their scrummage if they are not to find the going much tougher this next few weeks.
