I travelled down to Sittingbourne last night for the CLP dinner to launch their county council candidates (I am President of the CLP). I was the warm act to Andy Sawford our newly elected MP for Corby.

A joke going the rounds was:

If Louise Mensch had been a bar of chocolate she'd have eaten herself a long time ago. 

(Credited to an 87 year old local).
