We went to see the premier of Shadow Dancer starring Andrea Riseborough, Clive Owen and Gillian Anderson at Cineworld in The Haymarket last night.
The film was written by Tom Bradby (who also doubles as ITN's main politico journo) and directed by James Marsh and is set in Belfast largely in the early 1990s.
This was a gripping film where the photography, music, direction, costumes, script and music combined to act as one as you were drawn into this taut thriller with a series of unexpected consequences.
A seriously classy film helped by an excellent script.
Go see.
