Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

I had seen both Joanna Hogg's previous films - Unrelated (2008) and Archipelago (2010) - and I have met her a couple of times (both grandparents were Labour MPs).

I saw her latest - Exhibition - at the Barbican over the Bank holiday weekend. It was a tougher call to stay the course and at times I found the subject matter bleak.
